Q-When does the policy start and end?

The coverage starts when accepted by Equisure. The ending date is always
December 31. The policy runs from January 1 to December 31 every year. If your
membership starts in June the premium is the same.

Q-What should I do if I have a claim?

Write down all the details. Get names and phone numbers of any witnesses. Do not
admit fault or make any monetary payments.

Q-What are the limits of coverage?

$1,000,000.00 per occurrence.
$1,000,000.00 aggregate

Q-What is excess insurance?
A-
If you have primary homeowners insurance this insurance will pay claims after the
primary policy is exhausted. If you have no other liability insurance this policy would be
primary.

Q-If I am a trainer or give lessons would this policy cover me?
A-
No, coverage for business related activities are excluded.

Q-If my horse is boarded away from home am I covered?
A-
Yes you are covered away from home and when traveling.

Q-If I lend my horse to someone am I covered?
A-
Yes, you are covered for bodily injury and property damage your horse may cause
that you are held legally liable for.

Q-If I fall off my horse and break my arm am I covered?
A-
No, this is not a medical policy. You would need to use your own health insurance.

Q-If my horse gets out and damages my neighbor’s property am I covered?
A-
Yes, you are covered for property damage you are legally liable for.

Q-What membership should I get?
A-
That depends. Individual Horse Club membership includes the member and any
family members under 18 living in the household. Family Horse Club membership
includes the member, spouse and family members under 18 living in the household.
